Bist du Bei Mir, JS Bach BWV 508, a lovely piece
Prelude #1 Villa Lobos
Claire de Lune
Adagio :) Aranjuez
I hope I didn't overlook in case it is already suggested, but besides more transcriptions from the Bach Cellosuites or from the Violin Sonatas and Partitas there is one piece in particular that I would love to have a Tutorial here: Milonga by Jorge Cardoso

Hi everyone,
For myself, I very much enjoy the rendition for guitar of Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata by Eric Henderson. Although I am working on learning to read music, up until this point I am learning everything using lessens and tutorials as provided on this amazing website.
I would love to see a tutorial on this piece, in fact I would like to play it for my girlfriend who I plan to marry as part of wedding ceremony. I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.
Maybe Macedonian Girl by Tadic?
I think Agua e Vinho would also be a good one.
Been a member here for a few months. Have my plate full with Capricho Arabe, Cancio de Cuna and a few others, but what I would love to see is Lament by Andrew York. or even Sunburst. Love the tutorials, and glad I found this site since we've all been cooped up. Thanks.
I just finished listening to your (Tavi's) extended rendition of the Robert deVisee suite on six guitars (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9txAuSil2G8) I would love to learn more of these, especially the Gigue (starting at 6:45). I have a recording of Liona Boyd playing this from 30 years ago which I enjoyed -- maybe not as much as your rendition of these pieces. Any of the six as tutorials would be welcome -- in addition to the Prelude which I just learned. Thanks, Dan
Hello,
Songs id like to see:
El Negrito by Antonio Lauro
Maria by Fransico Tarrega
Preludio in E Minor
Preludio in C Minor by Barrios
Maxixe by Barrios
Thank you.
Plus 1 for Canarios! I am learning it now, and would love to have a video tutorial on that. The style and performance instructions/comments in the videos are something you don't get from the sheet music :-)
Danza Brasilera from Jorge Morel....Tavi, i see the wonderful performance from you on YouTube, i would be glad to see a tutorial to this!
How often do they add additional lessons?
I would love to have instruction for Schubert’s Lob der Thränen. I don’t know how to add the youtube performance here, but my favorite version is at this link: https://youtu.be/iVaszgduRY0
I have just finished learning La Catedral, thanks to the WONDERFUL instruction of Ines. A thousand thanks to a terrific, patient teacher!
Would love to be able to play Sevilla by Isaac Albeniz one day in the tutorials section.
Just wanted to say that the available selection of tutorials available for different skill levels are awesome. Thanks for offering such a valuable learning tool. On that note it would be nice to see a tutorial lesson on Bach's Prelude BWV 1006a or Barrios' Vals op. 8 No. 4.
How about ”Home” by Andrew York. Could you add it to future lessons? Thank you.
Bossa en re from Jorge Morel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhblZU1c88A
Just a suggestion for everyone, it might be better to post your tutorial requests in here to keep them all in the same place rather than start a new topic for every new piece. It would help the tutors scroll through all the requests in one place if they need any help deciding what to choose next.
I would like to learn this very much
Agua Y Vinho - Egberto Gismonti

This performance by Celil Refik Kaya is the best I have heard on Youtube. He is an amazing guitarist
I'd also enjoy learning "Ständchen". Beautiful piece of music.
I’d love to see a lesson for Oblivion

Canarios has some really interesting technique. I just got through it, and would love to see a lesson on it to help me polish it
CANARIOS! Please ;)
So much beautiful music to learn - so little time! Would love to see some more early music...
Air and Variations - Frescobaldi
Lachrimae Pavan - Dowland
Melancholy Galliard - Dowland
Love to have included in Lessons..Agustin Barrios Mangore.Prelude in C Minor
I would love to see a detailed breakdown of 'Gato' by Jose Pierri Sapere.....it is a gem of a piece but tricky in parts....wonder if Tavi and the fellow Elite guitarists could help with fingering on it??? Here is a version on YouTube for those not familiar with it:
Also Villa-Lobos (any of his wonderful work) please!
Another great post Nathan! His right hand seems so relaxed and effortless - so graceful It amazes me that these folks play with their eyes closed at times and not miss a single note.
That comment stood out for me as well - lol. Also, same here for me with Lagrima , "I'm still experimenting with how much emphasis to put on the tear drop parts"; my version sounds too mechanical with absolutely no feeling - argh! IMO you have to get the tear drop parts right or you blow the entire piece. However, I feel I'm making a little progress so I'm still motivated. One thing I really like about these tutorials is the fast track section - such a great learning tool! The slow tempo and the bar annotations really help with my practice. I use extensively with Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring. Good luck with your El Testament d'Amelia project.
Nathan - Wow, I mean just wow! Imagine being able to play like that! It's almost a paradox, i.e., "truth is honey, which is bitter". Thanks for sharing.
You mentioned a tutorial with Tavi explaining how to pluck the strings the way he does - is/was there a tutorial for Farewell? Of course, I have a long way to go before I attempt it, but I really want to try in the future. I'm still working (and now making progress) on Lagrima and Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, so I have plenty to keep me busy.
I bought the Tabs for this piece from Yenne Lee's website. Got as far as the intro to the harmonics. I'll try again before long to finish the piece.
The first song I learned. (Long forgotten!)
Thank you! That would be fun to do for sure (now to learn the piece....)
I will not probably ever be able to play Sueno en la Floresta but I would truly love to have it as a lesson from Taso :)
Love to Learn Tango en Skai, one of my Favourites
All of these are great suggestions! 2 of those are in the works now. Stay tuned for more details.
