Hi Tavi, and Hi everyone. Just to say that I am loving your online lessons, and your approach of guiding us through each piece is refreshing. I joined about a year ago and have only just found time to familiarise myself with your new site. Your repertoire is also very attractive - thankyou.
I've played guitar 'on and off' for many years, a bit of a plucker really, but always classical and a little flamenco. It has always given me great joy, deeply satisfying and restorative. Am currently working through Capricho Arabe and enjoying the stretch. I enjoy Dowland , de Visee, Couperin, [love your de Visee suite on youtube].
Am working hard to progress... thanks again for a great resource!
Hi Tavi, Happy New Year to you too and thanks for checking in, that's great. Honestly, progress is slow, but enjoyable - and that's key for me. When I have a moment I'll get my act together and submit a morsel. Thanks for the encouragement!
Hi Brian, I just wanted to briefly check in and see how you are doing. Give us a morsel of your progress :) Cheers and Happy new Year!
Hi Tavi, Thanks for your reply. Yes all good thank you. Loving Capricho Arabe, such a delight to play... I'm 50% there, taking my time but enjoying every moment.
Hi Brian, just wanted to check in and see how you are doing with your guitar playing. It's great having be part of our community here at www.EliteGuitarist.com and I trust you are experiencing great success in your acquisition of Capricho Arabe. It is a challenging piece, that's for sure, but its beauty is worth the effort. Keep working hard at it.
